About Harmony Farms

Harmony Farms uses therapeutic horseback riding to teach riding skills with a diversity of disabilities. Therapeutic riding is beneficial for all all ages for those that present a wide range of cognitive, physical, and/or emotional conditions. At Harmony Farms, we emphasize ability - not disability.

A member of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH), Harmony Farms is an approved location for community service and scholarship requirements for local schools. We are an off-campus training site for several university and medical programs.

Responding to the diverse needs of those with disabilities for over 30 years, Harmony Farms, with Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors, services 60 riders a week with a waiting list.

As a not-for-profit charity, we are dependent upon the support of the community and local businesses. Our funding is primarily through donations, grants, rider fees, and fundraising events. Our riding program operates all year with emphasis on 10 months of weekly therapeutic riding lessons. During the summer months, we offer Riding Camps as a fundraising event.
