Buckaroo Ball is March 28! Get your tickets or be a sponsor!!
Volunteers are the heart of Harmony Farms and enable us to support the special needs community. We need you!
Help is needed with grooming and exercising horses and cleaning stalls, as well as helping with client sessions. Many clients require three volunteers: a horse leader and two side walkers during riding sessions. Don't have horse experience? Not a problem! We will train you.
In addition to helping with the horses, we look for volunteer help in areas such as fundraising, grounds maintenance, administration, and information technology.
Volunteering at Harmony Farms is an excellent opportunity to develop new skills, make friends, and have experiences that will be treasured for a lifetime.
Volunteers must be at least 13 years of age. Flexible schedules are accommodated and no minimum volunteer time is required, except those required by school or other organization requirements.
New volunteers can start anytime. You can register before starting by clicking on the "Volunteer Registration Form" button below. Riding Sessions are held on Monday, Wednesday and Saturdays from 8 a.m. - Noon, and Thursdays, 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. Just show up at one of these sessions to get started. See Volunteer Coordinator Terri Carr. You can then pick other volunteer times once you are registered. You will have to eventually attend an Orientation session, but we like to get you started first.
Any questions, send an email Terri at terri.carr@harmonyfarmsinc.com or text/call her at 321-543-2974 or call the barn, 321-631-9433.
